How long have you been photographing families?
I’ve been photographing families for over 16 years, and I still absolutely love it. Each season brings something new—tiny toddlers learning to walk, teens stepping into independence, and everything in between. I offer family sessions on weekday evenings (to take advantage of gorgeous golden hour light) and on Saturday mornings.

Do you offer mini sessions?
Yes! My mini sessions are offered seasonally in the spring and fall. Each session is 20 minutes long—perfect for families who may be new to professional photography or who just need a quick update for holiday cards and wall frames. Mini sessions give you a handful of beautiful, polished images at half the rate of a full session.
Pricing: Mini sessions are $395 and include 10 favorite images with standard edits (Photoshop requests are additional).

What is the difference between a family mini session and a full hour long family session?
A mini session is short, sweet, and streamlined—perfect for quick updates or holiday cards.

  • Mini Session (about 20 minutes):

    • One location, limited posing/combos

    • Great for cooperative kiddos and “we just need a few” images

    • Fast turnaround and a curated set of favorites

    • Best for: holiday cards, milestone updates, teens who just need one great smile

  • Full Hour Session (45–70 minutes):

    • Multiple poses, groupings, and movement-based moments

    • Extra time for shy kiddos to warm up (and for real-life wiggles)

    • Flexibility for outfit tweaks, a second mini spot nearby, and creative variations

    • More storytelling: candid play, snuggles, individual portraits of each child, parents together, and meaningful details

    • Best for: young kids, extended family, wall art + album storytelling, golden-hour magic

Pricing: Full family sessions are $950 and include 35 favorite images with standard edits (5 Photoshop requests included).

Do you photograph branding sessions?
Absolutely. My branding photography is designed for female entrepreneurs, business owners, and creatives who want to elevate their visual presence. Sessions can include lifestyle portraits, product photography, behind-the-scenes imagery, and professional headshots—everything you need to show up online with confidence and authenticity. I also provide short-form video for branding sessions, so you walk away with versatile content that works across social media and your website.

How much does branding photography cost in Marin?
Branding photography in Marin typically starts around $750 for a simple session and can range up to $2,000+ depending on the scope of your project. I offer packages tailored to your needs—whether you’re looking for just a handful of professional headshots, or a full-day content creation experience that includes lifestyle images, product photography, and video. Most clients invest between $1,800–$2,500, which builds a strong library of images and video clips for your website, social media, and marketing. Not sure what you need? Do you offer home photography?
Yes. In addition to families and branding, I also work with interior designers and real estate agents. Although these two types of sessions are very different, I’ve been photographing homes for more than 10 years, and my real estate and design clients have been consistently happy with the results. Along with still photography, I provide video services for interiors and real estate listings. Pricing varies by scope—reach out for a custom quote.

What types of events do you photograph?
I specialize in Mitzvah photography in Marin County and the Bay Area, as well as special events for businesses and families. These sessions are a wonderful way to preserve meaningful milestones. I can also provide event highlight videos so you can relive the celebration in motion.

How much does event photography cost per hour in Marin?
Event photography in Marin typically ranges $400–$600 per hour, depending on the type of event, guest count, and whether you’d like to add video coverage. I offer half-day and full-day packages, but many clients choose 3–5 hours to capture the key moments without over-coverage. My rate is $600 per hour since I specialize in events and am very good at what I do, and my clients are happy with all of the images I deliver. Depending on the amount of hours you hire me to photograph your event, 150-600 images are included with the hourly rate.

Do you photograph weddings?
Yes, but I only accept a limited number of weddings each year. I have photographed the larger and longer weddings in years past, but these days I prefer to focus on intimate, small-scale celebrations, typically 4–5 hours in length. If you’re planning a shorter wedding and want a relaxed, documentary-style approach, we may be a perfect fit.

Do you charge for travel?
Travel within 20 miles of Mill Valley is included in your session fee. If your session takes place further away, I’m happy to create a custom travel quote for you.
