Real Estate Agent Headshots in Marin: Creating Branding That Feels Like You

In Marin County, real estate is personal. Your clients aren’t just buying homes—they’re choosing you. That’s why your headshots and personal brand imagery matter more than ever.

For the past 10 years, I’ve been photographing real estate agents and the homes they sell, and that combination is rare. Most portrait photographers don’t photograph homes. Most real estate photographers don’t photograph people. I do both—and I genuinely love both.

If you’re looking for one photographer who understands you, your listings, your lifestyle, and your brand, you’re in the right place.

A Different Kind of Real Estate Headshot Session

My real estate agent sessions are intentionally designed to feel natural, relaxed, and very Marin.

Rather than a stiff studio setup, I typically photograph agents:

  • Outdoors in beautiful natural light

  • At a home of their choice (often one of their listings or their own space)

  • In environments that feel authentic to who they are and how they work

The result? Images that feel professional and approachable—polished without feeling posed.

Studio Headshots (Offered Twice Per Year)

While outdoor and lifestyle sessions are my signature, I know that some agents prefer a clean, classic studio look.

For that reason, twice per year I offer dedicated studio headshot sessions for real estate agents who want:

  • A timeless, polished studio portrait

  • A quick, efficient refresh

  • Consistency for team pages or brokerage branding

These sessions are offered on limited dates and tend to fill quickly.

Looking for a quick studio headshot update?
A few times per year, I offer limited studio headshot days for real estate agents who want a clean, polished refresh without committing to a full branding session. My next studio headshot mini session day is coming up on February 17th in Sausalito, with just six openings available. Scroll to the end of this post for full details and booking information.

Session Options (Simple + Flexible)

Outside of studio days, I offer several session lengths depending on your needs:

30-Minute Basic Headshot Session

Perfect if you need:

  • A refreshed headshot for MLS, LinkedIn, or your website

  • Clean, modern images with a natural feel

This is ideal for quick updates or annual refreshes.

1-Hour Headshot + Lifestyle Session

Great for agents who want:

  • Headshots and lifestyle imagery

  • Content for social media, websites, email marketing, and print

  • A mix of polished and relaxed images

This is my most popular option for agents actively marketing themselves online.

90-Minute Branding + Video Session

Best for agents who want:

  • Still photos plus short-form video

  • Content for Instagram, Reels, and personal branding

  • A cohesive visual library to use throughout the year

If you’re stepping up your online presence, this session offers the most flexibility.

How Often Should Real Estate Agents Update Their Photos?

For most agents, I recommend updating photos:

  • Every 12–18 months, or

  • Anytime your brand, hairstyle, glasses, or overall vibe has changed

Your images should reflect who you are now, not who you were three years (and two market shifts) ago.

If clients meet you online before they meet you in person—and they do—your visuals should feel current and aligned.

Tips for Female Real Estate Agents Before Your Session

A few things I always tell my female clients:

  • Wear something that feels like you, just elevated

  • Solid colors photograph beautifully (creams, soft blues, muted greens, warm neutrals)

  • Choose outfits you can move in—confidence reads on camera

  • Don’t overthink perfection—connection matters more

And most importantly: you do not need to look like every other agent in Marin. Your personality is your brand.

Why Working With One Photographer Matters

Because I photograph both people and properties, I understand:

  • How to showcase homes and the humans selling them

  • How your personal brand connects to your listings

  • How to create cohesive visuals across MLS, social media, and marketing

Many of my clients use me as their go-to photographer for:

  • Listings

  • Headshots

  • Lifestyle branding

  • Social media content

One photographer. One consistent style. One less thing for you to manage.

Looking for a Go-To Real Estate Photographer in Marin?

If you’re looking for:

  • Natural, confident headshots

  • Branding images that feel authentic

  • A photographer who understands real estate and people

  • Someone you can rely on year after year

I’d love to work with you.
